The remaining balance is due two weeks before the event.

Cancellation policy:

  • If the booking is cancelled within a month of the booking date, 50% of the balance is due.

  • If cancelled within two weeks of the event, the full balance is due.

Deposits are non-refundable.

2. Performance Details

  • The musician will arrive early enough to allow for travel delays or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Performance duration, start, and end times are agreed in advance. Additional time may be available at an extra charge.

3. Music and Repertoire

  • Clients can request specific pieces or styles in advance.

4. Venue Requirements

Clients must provide a safe and suitable performance space, including:

  • Shade or shelter to protect instruments from sun or rain. The musician may refuse to play in direct sunlight but will try to find an alternative location suitable for both the ensemble and the client.

  • Armless chairs for the musicians for the duration of the booking.

  • For bookings longer than one hour, food should be provided. For bookings longer than two hours, a meal should be provided during a break; timing will be agreed in advance.

  • If the event is being photographed or filmed, the ensemble would appreciate copies of any footage or images that include the musicians.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the venue is safe and accessible.

  • Providing any permissions required for live music.

  • Responsibility for any damage to the ensemble’s instruments caused by guests or venue conditions.

6. Liability

The ensemble will take reasonable care during performances.

We cannot be held responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of revenue, or reputation, resulting from circumstances beyond our control, such as illness, travel disruptions, or venue issues.

7. Force Majeure

We are not liable for events outside our control that prevent us from performing, including extreme weather, sudden illness, or venue closure.

In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the performance or refund fees already paid.

8. Privacy and Data

Personal information collected from clients will only be used for booking and event management purposes.

Client data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where necessary for the performance (e.g., sharing details with the venue).

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
